These horns are picked out by myself from the packing plant, have had the core removed, and are covered with a rough scale. And buffalo, being the onry critters that they are, most will have some nicks and gouges. Most of the buffalo being processed for slaughter are two-three years old, and as a result most horns available to me are not as large as would have been available in the
old days - the horns I sell generally range from 12 to 14 inches around the outside curve from the base of the butt to tip. The horns I select are in all cases suitable for use in making powder horns. These horns might have a slight left or right bias, but almost all can be used to construct powder horns which can be worn on the left or right side. The horns will not have odd curves, corkscrew spirals or defects which would prevent them from being used for a powder horns. If you have special horn requirements, I may be able to get horns that meet your needs.
The buffalo horns sell for $6.50 each plus actual shipping costs (or as close as I can figure). For more information I can be contacted by email, or I can be reached through a traditional dispatch at:

If you are in the Denver-metro area and want to pick through my selection of horns, you are welcome to do so, but please arrange an appointment by email before coming by.
Note: Due to U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations, I can no longer accept international orders.
Notice: Buffalo horns are currently out of stock. I visited with my supplier in
mid March and they still had none available for me. I'm very picky about the horns
I select, only choosing about 1 in 15 for reasons of size, shape and blemishes. Currently
my supplier has orders for nearly 1,000 horns waiting to be filled. I could get on
the list, however, I would then have to be satisfied with whatever was available
at that time, which is unacceptable to me. Basically what I'm trying to say is it
may be a considerable period of time, perhaps September, before I'm able to get horns.
Thank you
Michael
